Teenage Greek hacking suspect released on bail

Greek authorities say a teenager suspected of hacking into U.S. government and Interpol websites and engaging in credit card fraud has been released on bail.

Court officials said Thursday the 18-year-old paid bail of €5,000 ($7,300), and has been banned from leaving the country and will have to appear twice a month at his local police station.
He has been charged with credit card fraud and possession of explosives after police allegedly found fake credit cards and an incendiary device in his Athens home. Authorities are also considering pressing computer hacking-related charges.
The Greek suspect, who has not been named, denies any wrongdoing.
Police arrested him on Monday with the help of authorities in France, where international crime fighting agency Interpol is based, and the United States.
