The Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Monday that the Turnover Index in Industry (both domestic and non-domestic market) in April 2011 compared with April 2010 recorded an incline of 10.2%. In April 2010, the annual rate of change of the Turnover Index in Industry was 1.6%.
According to a statement, the average Turnover Index in Industry for the 12-month period from May 2010 to April 2011, as compared to the 12-month period from May 2009 to April 2010, increased by 7.3%. In April 2009, the corresponding average rate of change of the Turnover Index in Industry was –14.7%.
