The entire Zakynthos Fire Brigade force was at the spot, assisted by five fire engines from Ileia prefecture, two teams on foot from the city of Patras and Athens, two firefighting airplanes and a water dropping helicopter.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on arson suspicion.
