Greece borrows euro1.62 bln in T-bills at lower rate

Greece's debt management agency says it has raised euro1.62 billion ($2.28 billion) in an auction of 13-week treasury bills at a lower interest rate.




An agency statement says Tuesday's sale was 3.08 times oversubscribed and carried an interest rate of 4.58 percent. That yield is down from 4.62 percent at the previous 13-week T-bill sale, on June 21, which was 2.94 times oversubscribed.
