Greece is one of the six countries taking part in a pilot programme of the "interactive Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed" (iRASFF), following a relevant proposal by the European Commission in recognition of the contribution of the Hellenic Food Authority (Efet) and Greece in general to the RASFF.
According to an Efet statement, the interactive platform is an electronic online link for the speedy exchange of information on non-safe food and animal feed. The other participating countries are the UK, France, Denmark, Poland and Estonia.
