Greek gymnasts appear to be in great shape ahead of the World Championship in Japan, as they landed three gold medals over the weekend at the World Cup event in Maribor, Slovenia.
On Saturday Lefteris Petrounias was first in the rings. Then on Sunday Vasso Millousi performed a really challenging sequence to win the balance beam event, while Vlassis Maras won gold in the horizontal bar with his new sequence that is particularly difficult.
The World Championship is taking place on October 7-16 in Japan and is the criterion for qualification to the 2012 London Olympics.
