Public transport workers gearing up for more strikes

Public transport unions are gearing up for another 48-hour strike on Thursday and Friday, in protest against the labour reserve measure and the abolition of collective labour agreements.

The proposal was put forward at a morning meeting held at the offices of the ISAP electric railway between the heads of all the transport unions. The final decision will be taken by the boards of each individual union by Wednesday afternoon at the latest, though the majority have decided to participate in the strike.
