A weekend of anti-austerity protests in Athens has left the centre of
the city in tatters after rioters torched buildings and looted shops. As
the Greek parliament passed unpopular new austerity measures to secure a
eurozone bailout on Sunday, demonstrators turned the square in front of
the parliament building into a warzone.
