Another Euro semifinal for Athinaikos women

Women's champion Athinaikos reached the semifinals of the Eurocup on
Thursday, after beating Mann Filter Zaragoza 74-62 at home.
The Vyronas side, who are the trophy holders of Europe's second-tier competition, had drawn 53-53 at the first leg in Spain and needed a victory by any margin in the return match.
The players of coach Yiannis Ktistakis trailed 21-20 after the first period but succeeded in staying on top for the rest of the game. 
The first half ended 40-31 in the Greeks' favour and they led by up to 18 points in the second half to win by 12 in the end.
"Athinaikos are among Europe's elite," stated Ktistakis on Friday.
The Greek champions will face Israel's Elitzur Ramla next on February 24 and March 3, for a place in the Eurocup final.
