Postman robbed, pension payroll stolen

Two unidentified robbers on a motorbike attacked a postman and stole 20,000 euro destined to pay pensions to farmers in the surrounding villages on the road between Kontovyzaina and Velimahi in Gortynia. The attack took place on Tuesday, when the postman had pulled over due to engine trouble. Police have
launched a search but the culprits have not yet been found.
