Sunday, thrashing AEK 6-0 at home to maintain an unassailable 10-point lead at the top of the Super League.
Two goals from former AEK striker Raffik Djebbour rubbed salt in the wounds of the visitors, who suffered their equal heaviest ever defeat to Olympiakos just four days after qualifying for the Greek Cup final.
But Sunday was all about the Reds who won their 13th league title in the last 15 years to underline their dominance of Greek football.
Djebbour, who had his contract at AEK terminated in January only to controversially join Olympiakos a few days later, set the Reds on their way after just 2 minutes with a header from a corner.
Swedish defender Olof Mellberg made it 2-0 just five minutes later from another set piece.
Just 20 minutes into the game, Olympiakos had wrapped up the game and yet another title as David Fuster raced into the box and reached the ball ahead of Sebastian Saja in the AEK goal. The Spaniard watched as the ball rolled slowly over the line.
The Reds eased up for the rest of the first half but scored a fourth 16 minutes into the second period when Djebbour eluded Kostas Manolas and curled an exquisite shot into the top corner.
With the capacity crowd celebrating wildly, Olympiakos's top scorer Kevin Mirallas got in on the act. The Belgian produced a fine solo move and even better finish to make it 5-0 after 68 minutes.
The rout was completed three minutes later when Jose Holebas scored his first goal for Olympiakos since joining the club in the summer.
The emphatic scoreline was a huge blow to AEK, whose fans will not take kindly to this kind of humiliation, but the Yellows have the Greek Cup final against Atromitos to look forward to.
For Olympiakos, the thrashing of their crosstown rivals was confirmation of their utter dominance of Greek football over the last two decades.
After their win, the Reds have 64 points from 26 games, 10 points more than Panathinaikos in second place. AEK have 43 points.
