German plane makes emergency landing in Athens

A German plane with 193 passengers onboard made an
emergency landing at the Athens International Airport due to technical problems, a media report said.
The pilot of the Boeing 757-300, which had taken off from Stuttgart for Larnaca in Cyprus, asked Greek authorities for permission to land Monday afternoon due to a problem in one of its two engines, Xinhua reported.
All passengers of the Condor airlines flight were in "good health" and experts were examining the technical problem, officials said.
This was the second emergency landing at the Athens airport Monday.
Earlier in the day, a British plane with 213 people onboard which had departed from Bristol to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt made an emergency landing in Athens due to a bomb scare.
