IKA to appoint consultant for utilization of property

Social Insurance Institute (IKA) has launched a public consultation until
April 15 for the appointment of a consultant for the utilization of its property.

IKA plans to proceed with an open tender for a year-long consulting project, budgeted at €180,000 including VAT, for the elaboration of studies for the utilization of IKA’s property.

The project is scheduled on four phases: assessment of the real estate, preparation of technical documents, selection of the most suitable contractor and elaboration of two independent studies regarding the accommodation of IKA and the usefulness of a real estate investment company.

According to IKA’s administration, the primary strategic objective of the country’s largest social security organization is the accommodation in privately owned buildings. IKA has 215 properties in its possession, but there are currently in use or are not for immediate utilization due to special technical and legal characteristics.
