Prime Minister George Papandreou ruled out, according to reports, the possibility of elections, during the informal cabinet session that was continuing on Monday evening.
The reports were confirmed by Regional Development and Competitiveness Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis during a brief meeting with reporters. The minister left the meeting due to an engagement.
Chrysochoidis termed the entire discussion that was already lasting over five hours "extensive and in depth."
