The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in June 2011 compared with June 2010, increased by 3.3%. In June 2010, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 5.2%, said the Hellenic Statistical Authority in a report on Thursday.The CPI in June 2011 compared with May 2011 dicreased by 0.2%. In June 2010, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was -0.3%.
In the twelve-month period from July 2010 to June 2011 compared with the period from July 2009 to June 2010 the annual average rate of change of the CPI was 4.7%. The corresponding annual average rate of change of the CPI in the previous year (July 2009 to June 2010), was 2.7%.
