A1 Basketball: Panionios suffer loss at Rethymno - Olympiakos are alone on top of the table

Olympiakos went alone on top on Sunday beating KAO Dramas at home after Panionios suffered their second defeat of the season on Saturday.

Olympiakos dismissed KAO Dramas 83-61 despite a poor start to the game that saw them trail the Drama side 23-12 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

Panionios lost 77-67 at AGO Rethymnou, showing how unpredictable the Greek league has become these days.

Champions Panathinaikos scored an emphatic 77-60 at PAOK on Saturday, just three days after thrashing Zalgiris Kaunas by 35 points in Lithuania for the Euroleague.

The Greens are clearly improving and are now looking forward to their top-of-the-group clash with CSKA Moscow on December 14.

Just like Panathinaikos, Kolossos Rhodes are on six wins in seven games, after seeing off hosts Ilisiakos at Zografou with a 76-70 score.

Aris grabbed their second win for the season, beating Kavala 68-60 away, while Peristeri downed winless Maroussi 67-55.
