Talks between Greece and its private creditors over a planned debt restructuring are edging towards a compromise, the country's finance minister said Wednesday, with another round of talks possibly taking place within the next few days.
Under the terms of a EUR130 billion bailout Greece hopes to receive from its
European partners next year, the country has been tasked with negotiating a
voluntary deal with private creditors that would slash the amount of debt it
owes them in half.
