The Athens Academy held a special session on Tuesday with the offering of awards and commendations to people of literature, art and science.Among those given awards were authors Zyranna Zateli, Alki Zei, publisher Rahil Kapon, teacher Hara Nikopoulou, poet and publisher Antonis Fostieris.
The session was attended, among others, by Interior Minister Yiannis Ragoussis, former deputies, academics, friends and relatives of those given awards and former president of the republic Kostis Stephanopoulos.
