Blast outside Greek embassy in Buenos Aires


    A small explosion was reported at 1:30 a.m. local time outside the Greek embassy in Buenos Aires was attributed by Argentine police to firebomb, a foreign ministry announcement stated on Thursday.

    At the time of the blast no embassy employees were in the building. Minor damages to the building's facade were reported.


    The foreign ministry noted that it has sent instructions to all foreign services to heighten security measures.

    The Greek embassy in Rome recently received a mail bomb, reportedly sent by self-styled Italian anti-state activists in support of similar extremist groups in Greece.
