The March contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading at -3.55 percent in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Monday, with turnover remaining a low 12.284 million euros. Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 2,640 contracts worth 8.501 million euros, with 28,601 short positions in the market.
Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 10,519 contracts worth 3.783 million euros, with investment interest focusing on Piraeus Bank’s shares (2,402), followed by Eurobank (641), MIG (1,326), OTE (897), Viohalco (232), Mytilineos (710), Cyprus Bank (314) and Marfin Popular Bank (1,635).
