Budget revenues up 10.6% in December

Greek budget revenues rose 10.6 percent in December, boosted by a tax amnesty scheme introduced by the government, with revenues rising 5.4 percent in the year, falling short of a budget target for an annual growth rate of 6.0 percent, the Finance ministry said on Monday.

Ministry officials expressed satisfaction with revenue figures for the year, totaling 51.1 billion euros, down 280 million euros from a revised budget provision.
