PAME sit-ins in several banks across southern Greece

Members of the Communist Party-affiliated Pame trade union grouping held brief sit-ins until 11 am on Wednesday at several bank branches in major cities across the Peloponnese in southern Greece, blocking access to bank employees and customers.
"The mobilization was held to unmask those who exploit the wealth produced by the workers," according to a Pame statement.
The sit-ins took place at the branches of state-run ATEbank in Tripolis, Corinth, Sparta and Nafplio as well as at the National Bank branch (NBG) in Kalamata. The state has the final say in appointing NBG's CEO.
