Greece's import price index in the industrial sector grew 4.6 percent in November 2010, compared with the same month in 2009, after an increase of 4.0 percent recorded in November 2009, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Wednesday.
The index was up 1.2 percent in November from October, double the growth figure of 0.6 percent recorded in November 2009. The statistics service, in a report, attributed the November increase to an 1.7 percent rise in the import price index from eurozone countries and a 7.5 percent increase in the price index from other countries (reflecting higher international oil prices).
