Raid on alleged 'black market' warehouse in central Athens

A major police operation was underway at noon (local time) in central Athens following a raid on an eight-storey building reportedly serving as a warehouse and transport hub
for fake brand name products and items peddled by illegal migrant street hawkers.

    A municipal crew from the City of Athens and officials from the financial crimes squad (SDOE) were also part of the raid.

    An initial report cites a massive quantity of bootleg goods stored in the building, which is located on Pireos street.
