Opap, Greece’s lottery and betting monopoly, on Tuesday announced the start of a tender procedure to select a new IT provider, for the supply, installation and operation of all necessary equipment for a new operational system for Opap’s range of games, along with offering pre-emptive and correctional maintenance and technical support.
Candidates will have 33 days to apply in the tender. Opap picked Deloitte and Touches as IT tender adviser. The organisation aims to complete the tender procedure by the end of June or July 2011. Picking new IT provider is crucial to Opap’s effort to expand in videolotto and internet betting.
