Students were dealing drugs in school!

The Argolis area "froze" when news broke that minors students had been selling each other drugs inside their school. In this unprecedented give and take involving five children under 16 years, the one who identified their dealings and reported them to the police was a school teacher.

This extraordinary incident took place inside the premised of the
School of the Holy Trinity in the former Midea municipality, when teachers caught five students red handed. The students were selling small amounts of cannabis to their peers, charging five euro for each "dose"! The case was immediately brought to the high school dean, who called the parents of all five children and informed them.

The incident was also forwarded, as is the law, to the Nafplio District Attorney, as well as the local Police department, to ascertain if the minors should be prosecuted or not. It is the first such incident recorded in this school, although outside the school there have been arrests of gypsy drug dealers from the neighboring camp.
