An improvised incendiary device exploded at 17:54 on Friday outside the political office of Health Minister Andreas Loverdos, in Apollonos street 6 at Syntagma Square.
The device, composed of three gas cannisters, had been placed at the entrance to the political office which is located on the first floor of the building. The explosion and ensuing fire caused slight damage to the door.
