Latest opinion poll unveiled

According to the latest opinion poll Pasok maintains a 2.3-percentage point lead over main opposition New Democracy party, being preferred by 21.9 percent of respondents compared to 19.6 percent for ND. Additionally, the communist party (KKE) is preferred by 8.3 percent; the Popular Orthodox Rally (Laos) by 5.6 percent; leftist Syriza by 2.6 percent; the newly formed Democratic Alliance gets 2.4 percent and the also recently established Democratic Left two percent. 
 
A 3-percent threshold is necessary to enter Parliament. 
 
The poll was published by the Sunday weekly "Proto Thema" and conducted by the firm Alco.
