Video: Aris Thessaloniki vs Iraklis Thessaloniki 0-1

Iraklis beat Aris 1-0 in the Thessaloniki derby to
banish any concerns about their survival in the Super League but the result left the Yellows just five points above the relegation zone with five games left.

At the Kleanthis Vikelidis stadium, Iraklis survived a rocky start that saw Aris hit the post in the 2nd minute with a Sergio Koke shot from the edge of the area.
The Yellows dominated the game but Iraklis came alive in the final 10 minutes, forcing a great double save from Michalis Sifakis before Victoras Iakob raced into the box in the 88th minute and rounded the Aris keeper to score the winning goal.
The win means that cash-strapped Iraklis have leapfrogged Aris in the standings. Iraklis have 32 points and Aris have 30 and are beginning to look over their shoulders at the relegation zone.
