Equity prices were holding steady at the opening of trade on the Athens Stock Exchange on Friday, with the basic share price index showing a marginal dip of 0.08 percent at 1,534.01 points at 11:30 a.m. and turnover at 15,837 million euros.
Individual sector indices were mixed, with the biggest gains for Travel (1.32 percent up) and Media (1.04 percent up). The biggest losses were in Health (1.3 percent down) and Commerce (1.1 percent down).
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was marginally lower by 0.08 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down 0.27 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was down 0.28 percent.
Of the stocks traded, 31 were up, 34 were down, and 28 were unchanged.
