The Greek debt is manageable and there is no issue of debt restructuring, Greece's finance minister Yiorgos Papakonstantinou said in an interview with the French newspaper Liberacion appearing on Monday.
"There are those who consider restructure inevitable. There are also those, however, who have wagered a lot of money on Greece going bankrupt. That explains the ridiculous rumors in recent weeks. There is no issue of restructuring," Papakonstantinou said, adding that the extension of the 110 billion euros loan that Greece has received from the Euro Area countries and the IMF are the best solution.
