After
wasting an 11-point third quarter lead, Aris BSA 2003 used a 14-2 run
in overtime to beat Rudupis 96-86 to secure second place in Eurocup
Group C and book a spot in the Last 16.
Dominic James collected 22
points and 8 rebounds while Christos Tapoutos had 18 and 11 for Aris,
which improved to 4-2 in the group. Ronald Davis added 19 points for the
winning side with Sergio Kerusch and Dimitrios Tsaldaris each chipping
in 13 points. Rudupis finished in third place with a 3-3 record despite
20 points from Arminas Urbutis. Dainius Salenga had 14 points, Gintaras
Kadziulis scored 12 points and Adas Juskevicius and Simas Buterlevicius
each chipped in 10 points.
