Greens cruise to win over Malaga

Panathinaikos had a comfortable night in Athens against Unicaja Malaga in round of the Euroleague Top 16 on Thursday night, beating the Spaniards 82-56. The win takes the Greens to the top of Group E with two wins from their first two games.
Kostas Tsartsaris led the scoring for PAO with 14 points. He also won 8 rebounds, while Mike Batiste added 12 points and 5
rebounds. Stratos Perperoglou scored 10 points on a straightforward night for the Greek champions.
"Tonight we followed the plan given by our coach and we got an important win to improve our record to 2-0," said Perperoglou. "Now we have to do everything possible to beat Caja Laboral on the road."
Coach Zeljko Obradovic identified his players' good preparation as the key to winning the game.
"?t makes sense that after a good practice we have a very good game," said the Serb. "This is the key for us. We were ready to play against Unicaja at both ends and we did it from the beginning of the game."
