Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos on Monday renewed his call to the country's opposition parties to support the government's five-year austerity plan amid rumblings of discontent within the ruling Socialist Party.
In remarks to Parliament, Mr. Venizelos said passage of the measures was tantamount to endorsing Greece's continued membership in the euro zone.
