Former Greek PM Simitis verbally attacked on the street

Former Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis was verbally attacked by youths in Athens downtown, earlier today.
Costas Simitis was walking an an Athens street escorted by his personal guards when a group of 50 young people recognized him and started to swear and spit at him, while they moved in an angry mood against him, Greek
media reported quoting police sources.
A police squad rushed to aid the former prime minister and helped him find shelter in near by building. The worst could be avoided.
In December an angry mob attacked the former minister, Costas Chatzidakis.
