The "i am not paying" movement is now an epidemic

The new citizens initiative "I am not paying" is now an epidemic and of course drivers find it very convenient not to pay at all toll stations since Sunday. The building companies that are the owners of the
toll stations have already proposed to the governement to make the act of not paying toll stations a legal offense.

There is a similar movement from the transport Ministry for all passengers that are not paying in the metro station, the buses etc. that will include a 3 month imprisonment for offenders.


The legislation will be included in the new law for all public transport.


In a very big interview that gave all five of the big companies that built the highways they expressed their worries of the initiative "i am not paying" and implied that the works are hanging from a thread if the non-payers continue.

The companies implied that they are discussing toll cuts with the government, but not to a 50% as the governement would like.
