PAOK edge out Maroussi to go third

PAOK are now alone in third after beating fourth-placed Maroussi
75-72 on Sunday at Thessaloniki, while Greece's two representatives in the Euroleague, Panathinaikos and Olympiakos were given some time to rest by the Greek league to focus on their Euroleague quarterfinal play-offs.
PAOK's home win has taken them one point clear of the chasing pack, with the Thessaloniki side hoping to stay there and get a place in next year's Euroleague.
Panellinios are now ever closer to their survival in the top flight after defeating fellow struggling Ilisiakos 88-85 away in overtime. Regulation time ended 74-74.
In other games Kolossos beat Ikaros Kallitheas 74-66, Kavala edged out Panionios 84-75 and Aris saw off bottom side Iraklis 86-70 away, in a game that was stopped for an hour and resumed after the stands were evacuated due to clashes between Iraklis fans and police.
The Panathinaikos vs AEK and Peristeri vs Olympiakos fixtures have been postponed.
