Super League Results

Ten-man Panathinaikos came from behind to grab a 1-1 draw in the Super League on Saturday night, a result that temporarily puts the Greens in top spot.

Goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis was sent off in just the third minute after handling the ball outside the area.

Atromitos struggled to make their advantage count but Kostas Mitroglou eventually opened the scoring for the home side in the 54th minute with a powerful header.

Against the odds, PAO managed to equalize just four minutes before the final whistle when a clever cross from Quincy was slammed home by Sebastian Leto. It was the Argentinean's third Super League goal in three games.

Panathinaikos have seven points from three games, Atromitos are in third place with five points.

In the day's other game, new boys Panaitolikos secured their second win with a 3-2 victory at Kerkyra.

The visitors had gone behind to a Tumer Metin goal in the 25th minute but Panaitolikos responded with three goals in 36 minutes in the second half to take the three points.

Giorgos Theodoridis equalized on 50 minutes, Henri Camara made it 2-1 on 80 minutes and former Greece international Angelos Charisteas rounded off the win with a goal in the 87th minute.

Giorgos Barkoglou scored a consolation for the Corfu side in the last minute.

Panaitolikos are second with six points while Kerkyra have just one.
