Greek debt agency to auction $660 million in 13-week T-bills next week

Greece's public debt agency says it will sell euro500 million ($660 million) in 13-week treasury bills next week, following a successful six-month bill auction this week.
An agency statement said Friday the sale will be held on Jan. 18, in a new test of market appetite for the country's short-term debt.
This week, Greece successfully raised euro2.4 billion ($3.17 billion) in a six-month treasury bill auction, easing
some concern in the troubled eurozone country a day after its bond yields hit a record high.
The issue was oversubscribed 3.4 times, and resulted in a yield of 4.9 percent.
Debt-ridden Greece avoided bankruptcy last year through a three-year international loan program worth euro110 billion ($145 billion).
